Back to the Drawing Board

I have plans that I cannot share right now because the haters are gonna try and sabotage me.

Hello, my dearest readers! Short post, but let’s go do some awesome blog post writing :)

Life is good!

A lot of wonderful life has been going on lately :) These past 2 weeks in particular I spent seeing the new Micheal movie with DA FAM™ (which was GAS), backrooms with my Natasha Dearest (which was ALSO GAS OH MY GOD more on this later too) Venturing to IKEA, open mic’ing at The Cup, and celebrating a particular someone’s birthday :)

Major update: I’m gonna release blog posts a hair less often for the time being, kinda on a sporadic when-I-feel kinda schedule! Truth be told, this might even end up meaning I write more often in a bit, but a little break is in order at least.

I’m back in the planning/writing phase of my cycle, which means I don’t have a whole lot to talk about on the music front. It’s been hard to pump out a huge amount of content because of this on the blog, but I will say that something I’m learning to appreciate the ‘downtime’ in downtime!

It’s nice to know that there can be quiet peaceful moments of chill relaxation and routine, outside of the exciting action-packed weekends we spend releasing albums and going crazy. This Sunday, for instance, I have no plans. It’s a good break.

Here’s What I’m Looking Forward to:

I’m almost 23 years old! My debut album 521 is almost five whole years old. Both of these are insane to me. I’m working on a special 5-year anniversary edition release of 521, that will include a second ‘disc’ worth of extras like unreleased songs!

There are a lot of songs I wrote in the 2021-2022 era that I don’t really feel represent the era of musicianship I’m in right now, and because of that I haven’t put them out. I still recorded them professionally, though, and like them for what they are. I’m of the opinion that putting them on this deluxe album gives them a proper home where they can live.

It’s gonna be fun to revisit what made me me at the time, and I’m looking forward to you guys hearing the songs that didn’t make the cut!

Finally,

Last announcements: The Kiss and Tell Show has a cd now! if that’s something you’re interested in. I’m looking into making more cool merch, because this album is really fun to promote and make stuff for.

The next full-length album is in the works. It won’t take five years this time, promise.

You guys are awesome. Y’all reading my blog here means a lot to me, and there’s more of it to come. I will be spending some time playing Stardew, open mic’ing, turning 23, and more!

I will keep you updated here, on a more-or-less weekly basis but likely less for a little bit, and we shall keep doing this awesome thing we do!
